Jordan ran. The trees blured by. She wasn't paying attention. There was a freakin Vampire chasing her for goodness sake. She tripped over a rut. He was playing with her. "I don't want to hurt you!" he called. She snorted. The pain of the action was immense. She estimated three broken ribs, a colapsed lung, and a concussion. She had fallen off a small cliff. About a twenty foot drop. The reason the trees were blurred was because of the tears of pain. She couldn't get up. She had fallen, and she couldn't get up. And there was a vampire chasing her. Life couldn't get any better. "Let me help you." his voice was right behind her. "No!" she gasped trying to crawl. He was suddenly in front of her. His golden hair matched his eyes. "Please at least let me look." he propped her up against a tree. He prodded her ribs and she screamed. "The lung is punctured." he murmured. Spots swam in front of Jordan's eyes. She felt a sharp pain in her other side as she shifted. She couldn't breath. He gave her a sharp look and lightly prodded the other side. "The pther lung is punctured!" he exclaimed. "Theres only one way to save you. You have to be turned." Jordan gasped and nodded. There was a sharp pain at her throat. That was followed by sharp pains at her wrists and one at her heart. So this is it. she thought. My three days have begun.

The pain was immense. The burning crawled on and on. would it never end? It will. I just have to wait it out. she thought. She tryed not to scream but as the pain intensified, it got harder. Once, a scream broke through her lips. "I'm sorry." a voice apologized from beside her. Her head naturally turned. She couldn't see much, just the vauge outline of the one who had turned her. "Not... your... fault." she spat through the pain. Footsteps came in and out of the room. "How is she?" asked a high female voice. "You should tell us." joked a deep male's. There was a pause where Jordan guessed the female was making a face. a chuckle came from the one who had turned her. "She is doing very well. She actually spoke to me a few hours ago." Very well? Jordan thought sarcasticly. I feel like I'm disintegrating and that's very well? "Yes it is." said another male voice. "What is?" asked the female. The third male told them what she had been thinking. The second male laughed. "Emmett." the female scolded. "Thats not funny. She's in pain." Thats when it stopped. Jordan sat up suddenly and looked around. There wer indeed four others in the room. Three males and one female. The one called Emmett scowled at the female. "You didn't see this?" "I did. but I decided not to tell you since you were being mean about it." The other two laughed. "How are you feeling?" asked the blond one. "Ok" she answered simply. She was actually thinking: Like crap. The bronze haired one burst out laughing. "She's lying to you Carlisle." Everyone else laughed. They stopped when Jordan stood up. "Truthfully? I feel weird." "Maybe cause you are weird." murmured Emmett. It was Jordan who laughed this time.

Her laugh surprised her. It was a light tinkling sound. Like wind-chimes blowing in a breeze. "You must be thirsty." said Carlisle. "One of us would be more than happy to hunt with you." "Thank you, but I think its time I went on my own way." With many good-bye's, Jordan left. she headed to who knows where.
