The trees flashed by in a blur, a mix of green and brown. To a human it woud be a blur. However, each tree stood out in every finite detail, clear and crisp, to Henrietta. Today she ran simply for the joy of speed. A rare smile lit her features as her golden hair streamed out behind her. Coming to the edge of a cliff, Henrietta came to a sudden halt, standing as still as a statue. In fact, she rather looked like a statue. Pale skin, finely etched features, straight hair. The only difference was that her chest moved up and down in her breathing, her golden hair blew in the wind, and her crimson eyes blinked. From where she stood at the crest of the cliff, a vast forest could be seen before her. Far out in the distance, the lights of a city. She was uncertain where exactly she was, but one thing was for sure. Henrietta was lonely. A great forlorn sigh breezed from her lips. Bending her legs, she sat upon the ground and stared out across the open vista. If tears were possible, they would be slipping down her cheeks. A family would be nice. A permanent one. Not a small nomadic clan. Nomaditc clans didn't last long, in her experience. What saddened her even more were the lives she had taken to satisfy her ever present thirst. Again Henrietta sighed. In her melancholy, she rested her head upon her knees, looking like a beautiful and sad sculpted God.
